About the Piece:

After being commissioned at Dragon*Con to produce Murder's Sign for a shirt, I decided that Murder's Sign wouldn't work well as drawn. The problem is that in order to be printed on a black shirt, you could either invert the colors, resulting in white birds with a black skull, or I could "frame" it somehow. After seeing a few other t-shirt designs online, I came up with the idea of a splatter of feathers and wings (and a few ink drops too). This shirt is now available as well.
