Funny I just watched the trailer last night and commented that this is the end of real prosthetics. I believe her cheeks are done like Malekith from Thor 2, where it is a CGI enhancement. If you look at stills from Thor two, he has dots marking his face which they then morphed, I believe, into his slightly altered face.
Maleficent cheeks have no good places to hide seams, no brow ridge or jawline, and since they are subtle, the only way to do it in the real world would be an appliance built from the specific persons lifecast. And even then the appliance would be damn hard to blend in.
That being said, I still may try.
