Hail elves!
We have just returned from GenCon and we are already back in the office making ears and shipping them. Well some of us. A couple of the Aradani crew were overwhelmed from all the fun (and the 7+ miles you walk every day at con) and took a vacay from the studio.
But we are back and excited about the wonderful time we had in Indy. Gencon is a class A con that takes care of its artists and vendors and this year was no different. The weather was a little warm, so we didn’t spend as much time on the tavern patios as we have in years past, but still had many drinks with our friends and family at con. Next year, I wonder if we should do an Aradani Meet Up night, where we all have drinks and tell some elven tales? I dunno, we can start planning that next year.
Speaking of elves, we loved meeting all of you guys who took time out of your gaming days to get elf ears, buy some art, or pick up a SagaBorn book. The Aradani Costumes booth was packed all day long, as was the Art booth, so often we didn’t even talk to each other until the end of the day. Even though we were right next to each other!
I want to take a moment to thank to the crew – Laura, Clayton, Sascha, and Aiden. Load in, set up, break down and load out would have been awful without all of you.

Also, I am excited to have met Satine Pheonix and some of the Maze Arcana crew on Saturday night, hopefully we get to do some stuff together in the future! I think we need to find more ways to bring our elf wars to tabletop gaming everywhere.
On the topic of elf ears, we are excited to announce a new style of ears! The Sun Elf!
New Ears
When I sculpted these, I was going for a sleek equal point, trying to keep the ear in the smaller Medium range. I also made the inner ear curve longer than most of our other ears, meaning that more of your inner ear should be visible. That is, if you want that look. If not, you can pull them down a little more to have the same look as our past ears.
These are some of the first generic ears we have released in a while, and we would love to hear what you may use them for. Find us on Instagram or Facebook and let us know what you think!
The next season
It is still warm outside, but we can see Fall in our near future. That means Halloween costumes, Dragoncon, and the Ohio Renaissance Festival. Aradani is ready for all three. We leave in a week to go finish work on our booth at the Southern Ohio Renaissance Festival, and we think you will enjoy our new expanded space!
As for Dragoncon, we are back in the Americas Mart, floor one, booths 1607 and 1609. We hope to see you there.
I think that is about all the Aradani updates I can fit in one day, Have a good week, and see all you elves soon.
-Mike and the rest of the Aradani crew.
