So today the Official trailer for the Desolation of Smaug premiered, right in time for our Dwarf Ear Kickstarter!
As usual I love the environmental designs. I could do without the Elves running through the trees in extremely awkward CGI. And Paul pointed out that unsealed barrels, dumped into a river, fill with water and sink. CGI should be used to enhance movies, not make them break all rules of physics. On a funny note, does anyone else think it is strange that the Elf King has thicker Eyebrows than Thorin?
Now Bard looked very cool. And Smaug had an interesting look to him. I really want to see how they animate his face.
