So Disney didn’t do so well in US theaters with Tron Legacy, but when everything was said and done, they pulled in over 400 million worldwide. Not a bad haul.
Legacy’s director, Joseph Kosinski has a new film that I am looking forward to – Oblivion. He says he is ready to return to the Grid .
Kosinski says that the new movie will pick up where the last one left off: “It’s still the same plan in that Tron 3 would deliver on the promises set up at the end of Legacy in different ways. You look at what happened in the closing scenes ofLegacy – I think it sets a clear direction for what could happen in the next chapter.”
And Garrett Hedlund has stated this month that he has signed to return to his character of Sam Flynn. I also hope the new sound track is by Daft Punk because I really enjoyed their work in Legacy.
